We recommend the 546/547 grind. If you want to use one of the other Biggee Grinds we can get you some of those too, just don't come crying when it goes lumpity lump.

We went looking for these when HK$ was in one of their fits of not importing Eclipse parts about a year ago. We have been using them for 9 months now and aren't looking back. We have tried a few different grinds they have available and settled on the one they call "546/547". The intake lift is .400" and the exhaust lift is .385". We went with a larger intake duration of 272 degrees and an exhaust duration of 256 degrees. Lobe centers are at 110 degrees [Spec Sheet]. What does this mean? We tried them on my street car (1G, 16G, 550s) and gained 38 hp @ 7000 rpm with no noticeable loss of bottom end power. The bigger the turbo you have the more your stock cams will be holding you back. You can expect higher gains with large turbos. Idle? They sound like you have cams in the car. Lumpy but cool. Properly adjusted it will not be stalling.
They (and most other big cams) will not get along with an HK$ VPC, the lower vacuum signal will make the VPC dump too much fuel. Using an AFC to modify the output signal of the VPC's pressure sensor will help, you will decrease the voltage that the VPC sees and trick it into thinking you have more vacuum. Tuning is a little more vague this way.
Web does make smaller grinds but we feel they are kind of a waste, you could take the same money and just turn up the boost instead. They also have some absolutely huge grinds that require high compression and full stand alone ECUs. They are for trailer cars only. We are only stocking the 546/547 grind. If you are sick, and want some other grind we can special order them.
Web also offers a Spring/Retainer Kit. The head must be off the car to install them. Figure on a valve job at the time. Kit includes performance dual valve springs, titanium retainers and bottom collars. They must be installed at 1.180" to 1.200". OK for up to .465" valve lift. Fits all turbo and Non Turbo 4G63 motors.
