There will be two color choices for the piping, gloss red or gloss black.
For the GB. all hoses and connectors supplied will be silicone. Choice of color for the silicone hose will be red, blue or black.
Upper I/C Piping
RRE Full I/C Pipe
Kit
$450 - GB Price $370
Includes all piping from turbo to intercooler, from intercooler to
throttle body. Air filter assembly needs to be moved forward. Battery needs to
be moved. This straightens out the inlet tract to the turbo. Piping kit only
assumes you already have an upgraded I/C and have the ability to adapt and
modify our pipes and hose to your I/C install. We give 2" dia hose down
thru the drivers side of the radiator in the stock area. We pick up with 2
1/4"hose at the bottom of the radiator support on the passenger
side.
Front Mount Intercooler
RRE/Griffin top to bottom flow, 18" wide by 6" tall core.
I/C with end tanks only $475 - GB
Price $390
Brackets and adapting pipe and hose for RRE pipes $150- GB
Price $100
GB price for I/C and pipes and brackets (all) is $860

We are assuming that people have relocated the battery so that you can
straighten out the kinked hose between the MAS and the turbo. The way we have
done it, it does not interfere with the battery in the stock location, the upper
most pipe only is a problem clearing the stock MAS air can. If you have a VPC
and are using a K&N open filter back in the stock location it should not be
a problem. Otherwise it would work best with the battery in the back and the air
filter with a straight shot at the turbo.
From the throttle body down to the intercooler area:
The upper I/C pipe is 2 1/4" and goes from the throttle body down
towards the tranny. The 1G BOV flange mounts the BOV so that it points the
outlet at the turbo inlet hose. A piece of some hose would connect it back
in. It should work with either the GVR-4 inlet hose or the Eclipse inlet hose.
There is a hose coupler at the top of the tranny area. From there we go
down, just clear the shift linkage and drop down in front of the trans and
pretty much follow the stock path. There is another hose connector to a double
90 degree U shape pipe. This ends just past and under the core support at
the same area as the stock pipe. We will provide enough 2 1/4" hose to go
past where the stock I/C was. We assume you have already or will now upgrade the
I/C with something bigger and can connect and adapt there.
From the turbo to the I/C:
We have a 1 1/2" flange that bolts to the turbo outlet. Since it is
larger diameter than the stock flange hole, we use silicone to seal it. It works
well with a ported compressor housing. The pipe from the turbo is a 2" 90
degree bend following the stock path over the top of the exhaust manifold. We
are using a silicone section of hose to connect to another 2" 90 heading
down thru the core support to connect to what ever you have there. We are
including a 2" hose section about 6" long to help connect.
All the pipe ends are beaded and we are using heavy duty wide hose clamps.
There is a choice of black or red powder coated piping.
The connecting hoses are all silicone. Choice of red , blue or black.
