AEM Panel Filter
This higher flowing and less restrictive panel filter fits in the stock air box for a no worries install. This filter does not adversely affect the airfuel ratio and needs no additional tuning.

AEM Cold Air Intake System

AEM's Cold Air Intake for the EVO X uses their latest design technology to create and manufacture a high HP intake while remaining stealthy. The kit uses an AEM Dry Flow filter inside a large air box that is fed from the factory cold air ducting. AEM has tested this at a 16hp gain on a stock car. On a car with a full exhaust system we gained over 30 hp.

MXP 3" Short Down Pipe

This 3" diameter stainless steel down pipe replaces just the short stock down pipe. It has an extra bung for installing a wide band O2 sensor later on if you like. Includes all necessary gaskets and hardware. Install is about one hour with the vehicle safely lifted for undercar access.

MXP 3" Long Widemouth Down Pipe

This longer 3" diameter stainless steel down pipe replaces the turbine outlet and down pipe both.  It has an extra bung for installing a wide band O2 sensor later on if you like. Includes all necessary gaskets and hardware. Install is about three hours with the vehicle safely lifted for undercar access.

We prefer this long downpipe over the others on the market because it is in two pieces. With a long down pipe that is all one piece, each time you change the clutch, the long down pipe has to be removed from the turbo. This adds unnecessary risk of breaking bolts off in the turbo. With the two piece down pipe you can separate the down pipe in the middle similar to the stock setup. This saves money and suffering

From the intercooler outlet the 2.5" mandrel bent piping continues around the core support, with only two gradual radius bends in its entire length, to the lower intercooler pipe bracket before making a straight shot to the throttle body.

The upper intercooler piping starts with a smooth mandrel bent 2.5" stock turbo outlet pipe which connects to the remainder of the hot side piping.  The stock turbo outlet pipe is separate to allow it to be swapped out with the installation of our EVO X turbo kit to come so that the remainder of the upper piping can be retained.  This ensures that you never have to "upgrade an upgrade" and spend more money on a new upper pipe when it comes time for a turbo kit.  Making the connection from the turbo outlet pipe to the intercooler is a single-piece mandrel bent 2.5" upper intercooler pipe.

The obvious tie-in between the UICP and LICP is the ETS EVO X Intercooler.  This unit is a tour de force in efficiency, distribution and flow.  The factory inlet and out locations allow for the inlet and outlet to be at diagonally opposing corners of the core.  This provides the best possible airflow distribution through the core's height making sure that all charge rows are used effectively.  The AutoCAD drawn end tanks are as smooth as on the previous EVO intercooler with aluminum metal forming that looks more like artwork than end tank.  Between the tanks is any one of our sizing options with 3", 3.5" or 4" intercoolers as BOLT-ON designs behind the factory crash beam and above the factory undertray.

AEM 320 Fuel Pump

The AEM drop in fuel pump is our "go to" fuel pump for the EVO X. It is much more reliable than the other drop in pumps and it is E85 rated.. Obviously you need to upgrade the stock fuel pump when going with larger injectors and running E85. We also currently recommend changing the fuel pump before getting tuned even with a more stock basic setup. The stock fuel pump does work up to 350 whp and can just keep up with the the stock fuel injectors, but it is literally right at its limit. One little bog or bobble with the stock fuel pump and there goes a spark plug or piston. We see the stock pump pressure drop off significantly with higher heat.

Injector Dynamics Fuel Injectors

ID 1000s work well for a stock motor EVO X on pump gas with an upgraded turbo or for a car running E85 on a stock turbo. Price includes the plug and play adapters.

ID 1300s would be for a guy running a built motor on E85 with a big turbo up to right at 500-550 whp on E85 and these will still idle and drive smooth on pump gas. These are the Bosch Motorsports based injectors and will run with any conceivable fuel. Price includes the PNP adapters.

ID 1700s are for guys running E85 and aspirations of 550 whp and up to mid 700s whp with sufficient fuel pressure. With these 1700s, the car will still run on gasoline but dont expect anything smooth.  These are the Bosch Motorsports based injectors and will run with any conceivable fuel. Price includes the EVO X PNP adapters

GSC EVO X Cams
GSC S1 Cams

These S1 cams will work fine with the stock valve springs. They give a nice power increase from spoolup to about 6k rpm where the stock turbo becomes the restriction to airflow. They are also a must to get midrange gains from a stock frame turbo.

GSC S2 Cams

These are the big bumpy ones that need better springs and retainers. Idle will sound like you have some nice bumpy cams. But for a built motor they are a must to get the best power.

Magnus Master Cylinder Upgrade

If you have already done the factory recall warranty plastic clutch master cylinder, you should be in good shape. We have not seen those breaking apart like the original ones randomly were. Otherwise the Magnus EVO 9 style clutch master cylinder will give you some adjustability in the clutch pedal release point. The stock master cylinder set up provides no adjustability.

MUTEKI SR-48 Lug Nuts

 
Muteki open ended lug nuts are a must for running longer wheel studs. For aftermarket rims only. Will not fit OEM wheels.

COMPACT SIZE 20mm x 34mm Compact size and shape (20mm diameter by 34mm height) Enables them to fit tuner wheels with small lug nut holes.

LIGHTWEIGHT 36g Each nut weighs only 36 grams. Stock lug nuts typically weigh 60 grams each. Using these nuts on each wheel improves handling.

Centric Stock Brake Rotors

These are stock size high quality rotors. Centric standard rotors feature a double disc ground, taper free finish. Double disc grinding ensures parallelism, eliminates run out and provides near perfect disc thickness variation (DTV). Double disc grinding leaves a non-directional finish on the friction surface area for more effective pad-rotor break in. This special finish also provides quieter and smoother stops.

StopTech  Slotted Rotors

For the Mitsubishi Evolution, StopTech uses a special Power Alloy metallurgy to improve high temperature performance. Excessive heat can cause resins in your brake pad to vaporize or "outgas."
